Queer As Folk: The Expanded Set

I recorded a set nearly 20 years ago using the music and mixes from the Showtime original series Queer As Folk. The set featured 14 tracks with remixes from the show that I had to heavily edit for two reasons: 1. In the early 2000's, most remixes played in queer nightclubs would range from 6 to 10 minutes (some even longer) and 2. CDs at the time needed to be ripped at a max length of 72 minutes and MP3 CD capability for vehicles and media players was still up and coming (the iPod was still very fresh and had its own limitations). During lockdown in 2020, I rediscovered this set and wanted to re-release it as one of my early labours of love. However, the disc it had been stored and ripped from was badly damaged, and many of the tracks would skip or distort. I decided that, at some point, I would revisit the project and make it bigger to bring back the nostalgia many of us who watched QAF in the early aughts would feel hearing some of these classic tracks featured during scenes in the fictitious Club Babylon that, in itself, was its own character within the show. This revamp features 26 remixes from the original 5 seasons of Queer As Folk, over 3 hours of music to relive what we referred to as the "thumpa thumpa". I hope you enjoy.
