DJ Rush-Lo

Born January 11, 1978 in Michigan, Shane Rushlo’s family moved to Florida when he was a year old. It was in 1994 when he was captivated by electronic music / Old School Breakbeats. In 1997 he bought his first set of turntables, a Gemini PT 2000 setup with a two-channel mixer and developed a deeper love for music. He then began performing at various clubs throughout Jacksonville, West Palm Beach, and Orlando.

After several years playing Breakbeats on the stage Dj Rush-Lo decided to start a family in 2001, putting DJ’ing on hold. During this time he’s become a husband, father, and has become a proven leader as a project manager with a local company that he’s been a part of for over 11 years. In 2011, Dj Rush-Lo’s passion for DJ’ing and music, which has been burning all along, prompted him to make the decision to get back on the wheels of steel. He’s been digging into the new technology and software related to DJ’ing. Dj Rush-Lo’s current genre is still Old School Breakbeats, Nu Skool Breaks and he’s expanded to Electro Breaks .

You can hear the pride and craftsmanship put into each mix to ensure a connection is made with the listener in some form. You can listen to his live show "The Shake & Break Show" every other Saturday from 9:00 - 11PM EST on Gremlin Radio gremlinradio.com.
