ARETHA FRANKLIN TRIBUTE MIX (The Untold Kay Cunningham Story)

On August 16th, 2018 the world lost "The Queen Of Soul". I can't begin to even cover all of Aretha Franklin's contributions to the music industry as well as to the world. Her gospel roots and her wailing voice has been part of the American experience. From R&B, Jazz, Standards, Rock, Dance, Club....Aretha's music transcended race and boundaries. So, I took some time to pick out my favorite tracks and attempted to pay homage to this powerhouse of a vocalist. Because her music spans across several decades it was a little challenging to mix and program this set. It's not perfect but I hope that I did her catalogue justice. I covered 26 songs in less than 55 minutes. minutes.
