Paul Pfab aka DJ Palermo is an integral part of the Austrian DJ-crowd for over 25 years. Regular appearances in Austria’s most renownend Danceclubs (e.g. U4, Volksgarten, Fabrik, Dorian Gray) since the 80ies, additional work as music producer and radio DJ.

Founding member of the legendary act Bingoboys, reaching No. 1 on the US Dancefloor Charts, Winner of the Golden ROMY (1992, Best TV-Music), Austrian Club Award-Legend (Lifetime Award, 2010)

Founder of Deejay Top 4ty – the Austrian Dancecharts und organizer of more than 300 Deejay Top 4ty events all over Austria. Operator of the likewise Booking Agency and of the largest DJ-Promotion-Pool in the country. For more than 10 years Deejay Top 4ty-Dancecharts were broadcasted on Ö3 Radio (ORF) in the program Discoinferno.

His musical career startet out in the early 80ies on the decks of the record store DUMDUM, following first appearances in the U4 complementing the legendary Vienna DJ-Team (Alfi "Bad J" Budin †, Stefan "DSL" Biedermann and Klaus Biedermann).

Producing the electronica/dance band Edelweiss (in cooperation with Martin Neumayer, Walter Werzowa and Klaus Biedermann) he managed to reach his first worldwide success with the single „Bring Me Edelweiss“.
Producing Bingoboys he hits No. 1 in the US-Dancecharts in 1991. The song „How To Dance“ turned out to be one of the most successful Austrian music produtions ever.

In the 90ies Pfab started the enterprise "Deejay Top 4ty" to promote the weekly Austria Club- and Dancecharts. In addition he launched a DJ Service Pool including booking und event agency. His Compilation-CD-Series sells more than 200.000 copies.

Employing his DJ Pseudonym Palermo he rocks the hottets clubs in the country and at the same time produces some major dancefloor hits with his partner DJ Doozer In 1999 he teams up with Eberhard Forcher to launch Soundtrackerz and successfully produce for TV and Radio.

Seit Mitte der 80er Jahre Profi-DJ in den wichtigsten Discotheken Österreichs (U4, Volksgarten, Fabrik, Dorian Gray, etc...), Musikproduzent und Radio-DJ. Gründungsmitglied und Produzent der legendären Bingoboys mit Nr.1 Hit in den US Dancefloor Chart, Gewinner der goldenen ROMY (1992, Beste TV-Musik), Austrian Club Award-Legend (Lifetime Award, 2010)

Gründer von Deejay Top 4ty – der österreichischen Dancecharts und Veranstalter von über 300 Events unter dem Trademark Deejay Top 4ty in ganz Österreich. Betreiber der gleichnamigen Booking Agentur und des größten Dj-Promotion-Pool Österreichs. Die Deejay Top 4ty-Dancecharts waren auch über 10 Jahre fixer Bestandteil der Radiosendung Discoinferno auf Ö3/ORF (DeeJay top 4ty-Mastermix).

Die musikalische Karriere begann für ihn Mitte der 80er im Schallplattenladen "DUMDUM" und als DJ im U4 mit dem legendären "Vienna DJ-Team" (Alfi "Bad J" Budin †, Stefan "DSL" Biedermann und Klaus Biedermann). Als Produzent von Edelweiss (gemeinsam mit Martin Neumayer, Walter Werzowa und Klaus Biedermann) gelang ihm mit "Bring Me Edelweiss" der erste, weltweite Erfolg.

Einer der wenigen österreichischen Musiker, der von sich behaupten kann, einen Nr.1 Hit in den USA gehabt zu haben. Mit den "Bingoboys" eroberte er im Jahr 1991 Platz 1 der US-Dancecharts. Der Song hieß "How To Dance" und war einer der international erfolgreichsten österreichischen Produktionen ever. Mit Edelweiss und dem Titel "Raumschiff Edelweiss" (int. Version "Starship Edelweiss") gabs wieder Top-Plazierungen in in- und ausländischen Verkaufscharts.

Mitte der 90-er waren beide Acts ad acta gelegt und Pfab gründet seine Firma "Deejay Top 4ty", einen DJ Service Pool samt Booking- und Eventagentur und ermittelte die österreichischen Club- und Dancecharts "Deejay Top 4ty". Seine "Deejay Top 4ty" Compilation-CD-Serie ist eine der erfolgreichsten in seinem Genre auf dem heimischen Markt und hat insgesamt weit über 200.000 Stück verkauft.

Unter seinem DJ Pseudonym Palermo erspielt er sich parallel dazu Legendenstatus in den besten Clubs des Landes und produziert mit Partner DJ Doozer einige Dancefloorhits mit Kultstatus ("Music", "Makes The World Go Around", "Paris, You Got Me"). Seit 1999 produziert er mit Eberhard Forcher erfolgreich für TV und Radio unter dem Synonym Soundtrackerz.
