Nosmo

Nosmo has been a staple in the electronic music scene for more than 15 years. He produces the popular EDM mix show Electric Playground on Chicago's Q87.7 FM, which features Nosmo's mixes alongside those of legendary DJs Green Velvet, Andre Solaris, and a host of other talented residents. He has headlined every major club in Chicago and toured extensively as a solo DJ and with his infamous electronic band Grayarea. He has performed alongside global talent including the Foo Fighters, Mix Master Mike, Armand Van Helden, and countless others.

In addition to extensive performances, Nosmo has broadcast his mixes on several FM, Satellite, and streaming radio programs, including a coveted guest spot on John Digweed's seminal Kiss FM program on BBC Radio 1. Nosmo is best known locally for his five year residency on Q101 FM's popular dance music program "Sonic Boom," which shaped Chicago's taste in electronic music. During this residency, he produced hundreds or hours of seamless mixes and had the privilege to conduct interviews with some of the world’s most influential electronic acts including Underworld, The Chemical Brothers, and The Crystal Method. Nosmo is internationally acclaimed for his multitude of commercially released productions, including having created original music for Konami's "Dance Dance Revolution X" video game with Grammy winner Bill Hamel. His music has been featured on major DJ compilations by superstar DJs Tiesto, Nick Warren, Underworld's Darren Emerson, and Armin Van Buuren's top lieutenant Blake Jarrell.

And if all of these accolades weren't impressive enough, Nosmo was also the in-store music director for Crate & Barrel's younger market store CB2 and he has, for more than a decade, been co-producing hugely popular local events alongside long-time DJ partner Andre Solaris.
