Pandemonium - Crystals Arena Glenrothes - 1991 - 1992

Pandemonium was a hugely successful fortnightly event I ran for a little under 2 years between 1991/92 at Crystals Arena Ice-rink in Glenrothes in Fife. I learned a lot about promoting events during this pivotal period in my life. The event itself was held in the function hall above the ice-rink which operated as a cafe during the day. The room itself held around 400.

One thing Scotland has never been blessed with over the years is quality MC’s. This recording is one of my earliest performances with MC Gavzie who was in a league of his own during this period in Scotland. The majority of Gavzie's lyrical content was lifted from listening to tapes featuring MC’s down south such as Mad P from Top Buzz. He always put his own unique spin on.

I had such a good laugh working alongside Gavzie, not to mention some extremely funny times. You’ll be able to read about our antics in my autobiography coming soon.
