Pandemonium - Crystals Arena Glenrothes - 1991 - 1992

Pandemonium was a hugely successful fortnightly event I ran for under two years between 1991/92 at Crystals Arena Ice-rink in Glenrothes in Fife. I learned a lot about promoting events during this pivotal period in my life. The event was held in the function hall above the ice rink, which operated as a cafe during the day. The room itself holds around 400.

One thing Scotland has never been blessed with over the years is quality MCs. This recording is one of my earliest performances with MC Gavzie, who was in a league of his own during this period in Scotland. Most of Gavzie's lyrical content was lifted from listening to tapes featuring MCs down south, such as Mad P from Top Buzz. He always put his unique spin on it.

I had such a good laugh working alongside Gavzie, not to mention some hilarious times. You’ll be able to read about our antics in my autobiography coming in 2023.
