This song was a little experimental for me; the synthesizers I used were Minimoog V, NI Razor & the always faithful Sylenth1. Although I spent more time on the drums than the melody with this one, in fact I did more work with the drums on this song than any other song I've ever made. The track starts off as pretty unique DNB then in the middle it flips to an old school techstep type of sound, then back to the style it starts out with. It's called Grayscale because it starts out on the melodic side but not particularly uplifting and flips to an old techstep-type of feel with some heaviness but not dark, so the point of it is the song covers different shades of gray.
