Having a passion for early-era swing and lounge music, it wasn't until relocating to Asheville, NC that Cosmo Q discovered the genres of music that his heart, and tables, had been dreaming of. Today, this translates into sets that bring the modern sensibilities of house and step-beats to the prohibtion-era sounds of swing and gypsy jazz, with blues influences and a dash of the Balkans for flavoring.

Active in the the Asheville area for many years, Cosmo Q is no stranger to the ups and downs of a small-town music scene. Working with numerous Burlesque troops in Asheville also gave flavor to his selections - providing musical backdrops and techy goodness to their mischievious performances.

"For me, it's all about the off-beat. That catchy rhythm that joyfully gets into your head and you can't help but move. It's also the thrill of playing music that speaks to people of all ages."
