Sanket Nakrekar (aka Anubis ), is a DJ based out of Mumbai, He performs electronic dance music, including bass-heavy remixes of club and hip hop, trap, Dubstep, hardstyle etc. Starting his career as a DJ by playing at friend`s Birthday parties and school parties where he improved and polished his skills to be ready for the music world. As a professional Dj he got his first gig at Anna Kadai (Now known as Modern Kadaii), Dombivali themed as Friendship day bash. Thinking to get out of small lounge`s, bar`s and to make it big in Dj scene, He started taking part in war of Dj`s and by winning and gaining attention of the crowd at most of the top college`s in mumbai. After getting attention of crowd and grabbing attention of Party organizer`s he started getting gigs, his second gig was in his home town`s famous club “Orbits” (United 21) and the journey of gigs started with this.
He started Focusing and Experimenting with Electronic Dance music Covering various sub genres such as Progressive House, Big room, Deep House, Trap, Jungle Terror, Moombahton, Dubstep, Hardstyle and so on, As Sanket was big fan of Bass music inspired by artist such as Skrillex, RL Grime, flosstradamus, Ookay, Yellow Claw, UZ, Baauer and many more. He is specialized in Trap, dubstep and other bass genre`s.
To publish and Showcase his Disc Jockey skills he started his radio show named as "Anubis Radio "on Mixcloud. This Show is all about Anubis music, each podcast focuses on each Genre so as to get known His Podcast contains 23 Shows till now
