New Orleans-born Steve Perret aka DJ Skratchmo began spinning and amassing a diverse array of vinyl in 1998. After losing most of it in Katrina, he restarted his collection, and expanded into digital software. Since then he has played in live bands, supported MCs, scratched on numerous tracks and spun at venues in different cities.

Skratchmo is highly regarded in and around New Orleans as a beloved connoisseur of soul, funk, jazz, and hip hop music.
