THE JOURNEY

BlaQ Emric started his DJ journey in 2014. What began with a deep love for music gradually developed into a serious passion for DJing and music collecting.

From collecting CDs and purchasing music from music stores and online platforms to attending events and concerts, BlaQ Emric has always been committed to discovering and preserving good music. His passion for collecting music has played a major role in shaping his identity as a DJ.

Since starting his journey, he has never looked back.

INSPIRATION & MUSICAL INFLUENCES

BlaQ Emric's inspiration comes from his genuine love for Deep House and other House Music genres, combined with his ability to recognise and appreciate quality music.

His musical education has also been influenced by listening to the mixes and compilations of respected DJs and producers, including the late Iggy Smalls, Vinny Da Vince, DJ Christos, Glen Lewis, and many other local and international artists whom he continues to look up to.

These DJs and producers played an important role in shaping his understanding and appreciation of music. Their influence helped him develop his own approach to DJing, music selection, and creating memorable musical journeys.

For BlaQ Emric, DJing is not simply about playing tracks. It is about sharing a musical experience.

He believes in spreading and advocating for good music while connecting with listeners through carefully selected sounds, creative mixing techniques, smooth transitions, harmonies, and carefully constructed sets.
