This track has lots of interwoven soft synths, deep bass, saturated electronic drums and a smattering of arpeggiators.

I really don't know what else to say here, it's evolving, story-like.

This track pairs nicely with an altered mind [meditative, drug-induced, whatever]

I used Rob Papen soft-synths exclusively for this track, no particular reason other than that I like how they sound and function. I also used Addictive Drums 2 for their 808/electronic drum samples. I routed each drum to it's own track and processed according to my specifications.

This was the first track that made me feel like I had an in-depth knowledge of my mixing and mastering ability. Much of this was because of my rather scrutinous and thorough self-education in said arts/sciences, and also the quality of software that I use.

Many thanks to the wonderful people at Plugin Alliance who helped me see what it's like to mix with professional-quality plugins.

Some of my new favorite plugins are as follows:
-Vertigo Sound VSM-3, used on master and synth buss for thickening characteristics. Adds precise control over second and third-order harmonics, I love it too much =)
-Vertigo Sound VSC-2, a sweet quad-VCA compressor that's easy to use and has a transparent but profound effect on the audio.
-Elysia Mpressor, little beast of a machine sits on the drum bus and helps it crush.
-Maag EQ4, very musical and elegant EQ that I like to use on just about anything.
-SPL Transient Designer. to enhance attack and/or sustain on drum tracks particularly.
-SPL TwinTube, Mmmm, rich, syrupy tube saturation and harmonics.

Not sure what else to say about this, except LISTEN TO IT! =P
