My name is Mandla Khumalo aka DeepMacmania, I live in South Africa central of Johannesburg .I was born in 1985-10-10 in a small town up south of Johannesburg and moved to Zola when I was 5 years.

I’ been into all sorts of music since I can remember, but thought out the years I’ve become more and more interested in the electronic music genre.... and today, I’m totally addicted! There is nothing better than a day filled with music, in other words

My styles of music is ambient, chill out lounge, chill house, beach house, growing house, trance, techno , electro house.
’’An emotional journey through mind and soul’’ with my mixes and hope I will create these feelings for you a swell. I think the fact is that I love music so much. Djing is like a passion and I enjoy it so much it’s not like a job at all. Although I play a lot of cd’s j I still prefer vinyl, I find that I can be more skill full at playing cd’s.

In the future I would lake to learn how to write and read music, get in to production and may be sane promotions. Dance music has changed so much in the last five years – lot more people are starting to get in to more diverse style of it, hopefully this will continue

My advice to the starting out in the industry is know your music, practise, submit tapes to venues and if they turn you down don’t be afraid to try again. Listen to other djs not just our favourites
