Dennis Odari aka DJ Insta was born on the 17th of August 1994. Having grown up in a family that wouldn't go a day without listening to music, this fostered his passion for music from an early stage. DJ Insta's interest in being a DJ Sparked in the year 2015 after attending the Local Inter university Dj Competition.  Seeing the crowd light up through music, he got inspired and fell in love with the art.

He decided to act on this feat and enrolled for DJ classes from a friend. Through his hard work and resilience, he would later compete in the Inter university Dj Competition in 2016 and come out an impressive 2nd position of all the universities

Some of the Kenyan To DJs such as DJ John (Homeboyz), DJ Pinye, Dj Bash ( Homeboyz) & DJ Styles (Code Red Entertainment) have been a key inspiration & influence to DJ Insta’s style of DJ-ing.

DJ Insta started spending time listening to both local & international DJs & replicating their style and feel of music until he was able to come up with his own style.

As time went by, he would slowly sharpen his skills with experience from his musical background that gave him the ability to play all genres of music for various audiences, age groups and demographics.

In 2016, DJ Insta joined a local club in Kisii. He  Had his first debut on Hotspot II lounge where he plays until today.

It is his continued hard work drive and resilience that has earned DJ Insta the tag line “The Music Therapist.”

The Kisii Fashion Gala 4Th Edition concert in Kisii.
Has played along Dj JR of kaka empire, DJ Juan of Supremacy Sounds.
