Emerging as one of the country’s finest house music acts, Varcity bridge the gap between classic house grooves and bass laden main room tech. 2014 saw the release of their debut record ‘Tonight’, dropping on UK house music label Good MeasureRecordings, breaking into the top 50 Club Charts in Australia. The duo saw more success in 2015 after releasing their first EP ‘Swept Away’ which received support both locally and internationally. This was backed up shortly after with‘Changes’ on indie Brisbane label Revelry Music and ‘Rosé’ on Micropope, the latter being featured heavily in AC Slaters tour sets and Souncloud mixes. All this while still managing an impressive roster of local and international remixes releasing on labels such as Ministry Of Sound, Velcro, CSR and Onelove. The new year is looking bright for these two house heads with their new EP ‘Baked Goods’releasing 5th Feb on Australian label Micropope. Varcity currently hold down a residency at Brisbane’s super club ‘The Met’ and have been booked asa local support act for almost every major dance music festival in Australia including Splendour In The Grass, Stereosonic, Future Music Festival and ListenOut.
