A true Cologne stalwart, DJ and producer DAVID HASERT is one of the city's most prolific electronic activists and also the driving force behind the much-acclaimed LIKE event series and its associated label. As such, it seems only natural to set up a release with him, but it was the accidental discovery of title track "Ratata" on David's soundcloud that actually set things in motion. This raunchy future disco gem introduced a new level of energy to his incessantly growing body of work, firing laser beams and propagating dancefloor mayhem wherever it set foot. Imagine our amazement when a second track as brilliant as the first one reached our shores with "The Clap" - a beautifully textured house jam holding more than a few sonic surprises during its 9 minutes runtime. Another Cologne hero makes a more than welcome appearance with punk renegade, songwriting wunderkind and all-around exceptional producer BRYAN KESSLER, who contributes two wicked reworks straight out of prime time boot camp. They round off a sure-fire second outing for LOW HANGING FRUIT, a label venture of long time DJs Marc Lansley and Shumi aka Truffle Shuffle. No filler, all killer!
