Boat Drinks! With a DJ & production career spanning 15 years under his belt Paul Jackson is still pushing things forward. Making a name for himself on Darren Emersons Underwater Records with the classic 'The Push' Paul has continued to impress year after year. As well as releasing material on Dave Seamans Audio Therapy label, Defected / Fluential and Gung-Ho! Recordings, in the last few years he has also found the time to remix the Analog People In A Digital World, Tim Deluxe, Justin Timberlake, Pink, Jamiroquai and The Japanese Popstars, and he continue to tour the planet, holding down residencies in London, Paris and Dubai.
The title track 'Honky!' headlines this clubbed up EP, and Paul gets back to cellar-friendly basics with a tribal-tinged tech-house throbbed which sounds like the mighty R&S Records classics. A more percussive, proper floor burner remix courtesy of Da Lukas is also enclosed. 'Locked Down' is all about classic rave chords and electro flavours, again boasting Pauls incredible talent for tricky drum programming. Chapeau! 'Temptation' is the excellent third, and this is another seriously funk-infused groove with further cool brass... This three track EP is essential!!!
