Another chip I wrote for 50/90. I wanted to work on a different genre. I chose reggae because one of my favorite rock bands would occasionally play in that genre, and so I wanted to attempted myself. And of course add a new sound to my style of writing. Big thumbs up to metalfoot of 50/90 for suggesting to use percussion. I don't have any real percussion instruments but I ended up liking it in the end.

This song really difficult to record because of the time signatures that switch between sections and I added a few polyrhythms to the song. Thankfully, I was able to record the guitar parts with not much time wasted.

Lyrics:

V1:
You just ran into us
Before 4 o'clock

V2:
Now you see things
Ain't it strange?

B:
Before I call you
After I call you

V3:
You just ran into us
Before 4 o'clock

O:
You ran into us
Us ran into you

Recording gear:
