EARLY LIFE
Maharaj was born and raised in Daveyton, Benoni. Keitumetsi. At a young age, Keitumetsi was introduced to father's musical tastes, including Funk, Jazz, R&B, Soul, Blues and Afro Jazz. At 16, he was collecting songs and developing a mixing technique with cdj's his friend had. After Matric, He was introduced by a friend to other DJs who were/still are in the deejaying field, and he subsequently spent the rest of the year learning his way around deejaying techniques and the industry itself (getting the pitch, track selection, timing and pleasing the crowd (before recording his first podcast and playing other there for crowds.

When asked why did it take so long for him to release a mixtape/podcast he answered "...I wanted to take my time and choose perfect songs for the mix. I didn't want it to sound like a mistake mixtape. And I needed to learn he industry a bit more. So I was basically gathering information..." [laughs].
