Dead 2 Me Records, or D2M, was started by Chicago’s Bill Holland in 2011 as a means to publicly release music by himself and other local electronic musicians. The label's focus has shifted from it's initial Nu Disco and Deep House releases to provide a home for music from the burgeoning Neo-Vintage and Electroswing scene. The label’s main goal is to put out releases that are informed by the history of dance music, but that can hold their own against contemporary club and alternative music.
