Bio:
Growing up on the German countryside where there were no nearby clubs or nightlife, the thought of becoming a DJ never crossed Chris’s mind. That changed quickly after moving to Berlin. The first time he stepped foot in a techno club, he felt an instant connection to the scene and music, and knew that he wanted to learn how to DJ. He then dedicated his life to electronic music.

Because of his outgoing personality, he quickly connected with like-minded people to enjoy electronic music with, both in clubs and at home sessions. After playing at several houseparties and countless mixing sessions with friends, he was ready to bring his passion from the living room to the dance floor.

He soon became a regular act at the cultural underground spot, Kaffee Burger, after making his club debut at the Open Deck’s nights. Over the past year, he has played in clubs and bars around Berlin, including gigs at Polygon and Brigit und Bier.

But getting booked at events wasn’t enough for Chris. He wanted to bring his own ideas to shape the Berlin techno scene. This dream became a reality when he and his friend Justus founded their party collective, Beschäftigungstherapie. Since then, they have organized several popular events in Berlin clubs.

From oriental Deep House, to groovy and soulful Disco Sounds and even Dark Techno, Chris’s music portfolio mirrors his personality: deep and complex. But it’s in Progressive House tracks with playful synthesizers and oriental elements where he really feels at home in music, due to his high energy level and spiritual mindset.
