Grooves sincopati a 4/4 "spezzettati" da colpi di rullante o battiti di mano, ritmo da ballare che prese spunto dal jazz-funk, hiphop, soul, drum&bass, house, disco, funk.
Nomi di riferimento ? 4Hero, il collettivo Bugz In The Attic con IG Culture, Afronaut, Dazikue, Alex Phountzi, Zed Bias, New Sector Movements, Mark De Clive-Lowe, Jazzanova, Seiji, Mark Force, Marc Mac, Kaidi Tatham, Dego, Volcov, Phil Asher, Domu & molti altri, nelle serate infuocate targate CO-OP al Plastic People di Londra.
La scena Brokenbeat sta risorgendo in questi ultimi mesi, grazie a IG Culture, e Alex Phountzi (con il collettivo di nuovi artisti Selectors Assemble) , Orin Afronaut e alle loro nuove promettenti produzioni su etichette CoopR8.

The Brokenbeat scene has been resurrecting in these recent months, thanks to IG Culture & Alex Phountzi (with the hot collective Selectors Assemble), Orin Afronaut and their new productions on COOP Co-Opr8 label.
