Biography:
Abdalla Chahine (aka Cheh), a DJ & Producer from the mean streets of Beirut began his excursion from a city with a wide array of events and a pumping music scene which motivated him to spread his inspirational rhythms to numbers of ears.
Cheh started out with a very simple DJ system. He developed his skills by acquiring mixing on vinyl, and eventually progressed to the use of time-codes and CDs. Publically, his launch was in the scene of private parties, birthdays, dances, and proms.
When it comes to mixing, Cheh’s favorite genres are mainly dub techno, tech house, and techno. He targets his vibes on the ecstatic art of creating a groove that moves the crowd, always leaving them with the thrill of wanting more. The styles of sound he selects are greatly influenced by artists such as Carl cox, Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Nicole Moudaber, Nic Fancuilli, Kruder & Dorfmeister, Magda, Trentemoller, Ricardo Villalobos, Steve Lawler and many others.
Previously residing in Beirut, a city with an original underground music scene, Cheh has advanced to playing in clubs, festivals and events such as Minimal Effort alongside other breakthrough DJs. In 2011, he was released on the Lebanese record label, VL Records.
Cheh continues to progress and preach his music to variations of crowds around the nation. He anticipates the day when he can spread his intense sounds across the world whilst satisfying the appetite for music that his ears crave and his motive to see his crowd dance their brains out.
