So much more than just "that song Kanye sampled"...Kid Charlemagne is a classic in its own right. It's a song about the famed LSD chemist Owsley Stanley...whose acid was said to be "kitchen clean" in a time when everyone else's was "laced with kerosene". This song/story predates "Breaking Bad" by over 30 years, but has some very obvious similarities. HOW did Vince Gilligan never use it in the show? Weirdly, it DOES have a connection to BB star Bryan Cranston...who uses Kid Charlemagne as an alias for his pirate radio show on "Malcolm In The Middle". Thanks Wikipedia.
