100 Million Miles Under The Stars - Medley

This is a preview medley of my new album, 100 Million Miles Under The Stars, released on SynGate in June 2012. It's my 100th solo album in total, and my first "proper" label release at the same time...

The idea is that this medley will give interested listeners a better idea of the album than the rather short clips that can be previewed at SynGate's webshop, and MusicZeit Download page.

I also added a few comments and descriptions to give You an even better idea.
Unfortunately, I don't have exactly an actor's voice, and I guess also my English pronounciation could be better. ;-)

Hi!

My name is Michael Brückner and I'd like to introduce You to my new album "100 Million Miles Under The Stars", that just has been released on SynGate Records.

The first track, called "Memo for Nemo Part 1" leads into the album by slowly building a calm, mystical and perhaps slightly melancholic atmosphere...

The second track, "Memo for Nemo Part 2" is more upbeat and adds driving sequences, and melodies to the atmosphere of Part 1.

In track three, "Cycle of Fire", the mood changes to something more lighthearted and positive, featuring some ethnic beats.

Next comes "Paradox Planet", starting with a long atmospheric introduction that evokes images of the deep sea, which later subsides into a friendly and playful sequence.

Next station is "Monokosmos", which starts as an extend, mystical ambient soundscape that later is joined by another sequence, this time without changing the tracks basic atmosphere.

Then, on "Waves Are Chasing The Wind", the wonderful flute player Hans-Dieter Schmidt (imaginary-landscape.de) joins me and contributes a great performance on various flutes and flute synthesizers, over a backing that again devellops from a calmer mood to more rhythmic drive...

Finally, the album closes with the title track, starting with omnious noises and soundscapes. These subside into a solemn, richer orchestrated ambient part, until some more sequencing comes in, before the album calms down to a quiet ending, again enhanced by some gentle flute playing (...not by Hans-Dieter this time, though).
