Recycled Funk Episode 19 (Sade - The Sweetest Mix!) 320kbit/s

The first Recycled Funk mix of 2020 is dedicated to one of my favorite all time artist/bands, Sade. I can remember being about 14yrs old when I came across my DJ fathers own "best of Sade" mixtape. I was instantly hooked. It was the only thing I listened to for quite a while. The production, the lyrics, the voice, the mood & emotion. Everything about Sade captivated me then, and still does to this day. This was years before the official record label version came out, and for the record, pops version was better! With that being said, I was motivated to do something. That initial something happened on January 16 (Sade Adu's born day) when I released a remix EP entitled "For The Love of Sade" vol. 1. Featuring my take on 3 of my personal fav Sade tunes. I purposely picked out songs I felt where low-key Sade classics. I wasn't really interested in morphing them into danceable tunes, or some DJ friendly package. Sometimes you just wanna do things just for you. What better way to share those remixes with the music loving public than with an all out, epic Sade tribute mix. Songs that feature samples, remixes, covers & originals all blended into a nice Sade smoothie! AKA "The Sweetest Mix". Enjoy the ride!
