I originally conceived and recorded a different version of this mix a few years back. I decided to revamp it with a 2016 version exclusive to Brooklynradio.com It's not really possible to understate the importance of money in our daily lives. There are more than enough slang & slogans to go around, but I'm prone to acknowledge the ones branded through music. "Money makes the world go round", "cash rules everything around me", "for the love of money", "can I borrow a dollar", "one for the money, two for the show" and so on. So that was the idea behind this mix. To orchestrate a collection of songs that emphasize the value and importance of money, cash, dinero, chedda, dead presidents! Hence the introduction utilizing a sample from the movie Dead Presidents. So wherever you are out here in the world, I hope you've "Got money" just enough to get by, more than enough to spoil yourself. In any event you've put yourself in a position to have access, maybe easy access, to some cold hard cash, or by today's standards...a debit card with some funds on it! But what's money without happiness? A dull/sad existance if you ask me. - OBaH
