● Boshoco is Nihad Alabsi and Philippe Zarif – two musicians from Aleppo in Syria. Their music is a fusion of house beats and eastern sounds, infused with the souls of two cities. It draws on their upbringings in Aleppo – an ancient crossroads where people and cultures have mingled for millennia.

Currently based in Istanbul, the metropolis where east meets west, they produce their tracks from a secret rooftop studio as the sounds of streets sellers, mosques, and millions of people fill the air around them. Boshoco’s sound is made to bring joy through dance: the sublime natural high known in Arabic as "saltaneh".
