BIOGRAPHY

“I want to take the crowd on a trip, a journey throughout my deejay sets. I think that a narrative is really important. Feel the energy of the dance floor and ride with it!”

Audiotape’s dreamy, deep techno sound is warm, stimulating, sexy and timeless. Deep lush melodies fill up the dance floor immediately when he takes control of the booth.

His musical journey as a deejay, producer and promotor has taken him to a whole list of clubs and venues all over Belgium.

In 2009 he met a local promotor in his hometown Ghent, who recognized his talent and potential, and asked him to come play regularly at a local infamous underground house & techno club.

Now a local crowd favorite, Audiotape became resident or guest in bars and clubs all over. He also held a monthly residency on a local radio show called Charged on UrgentFM from 2009 to 2011.

In 2015 he connected with Detune, through their shared passion for Detroit techno. They started organizing club nights called Space Echo that focus on a musical, emotional and melodic side of house and techno - something they felt they needed to add to the scene. Detune also invited him to join Beneath The Surface, and host his monthly mix series Analogue Manoeuvres in the Dark.

Recently he moved to Amsterdam, where he’s set to begin a new chapter in his musical journey.
