Music and sounds of Aquinox

John Akerman Özgüç, Aka Aquinox is a musician, composer and DJ from Utrecht, the Netherlands. He shared his emotions and love for music behind the wheels of steel and his synthesizer, in Spain, Turkey, France, Germany and Russia and had collaborations with American and English acts.

Aquinox is an alteration of the equinox, the day that night and day are equal and is expressed through dark music flowing over into light music. His music is characterized by strong melodies in different genres, such as trance, techno, deep-house and ambient soundscapes and has been compared to Worakls, Jean Michel Jarre and Monkey Safari.
