Anakyne

L’introduction d’Anakyne dans la musique a commencé par une farouche passion pour le Hip-Hop auquel il s’est adonné en temps que DJ et producteur dès 1987. La carrière qu’on lui connaît ne débute cependant qu’en 1995 lorsqu’un ami lui fait découvrir la jungle. C’est l’époque des soirées Jungle Vibes initiées par Otis au Gibus et les débuts de la boutique Black Label où il rencontre les acteurs de la scène parisienne. Après une longue préparation Anakyne accepte de jouer à une des mythiques soirées Black Label sur la bateau Concorde-Atlantique, en avril 98 aux côtés de Kenny Ken & Otis. Cette première prestation publique très positive le pousse à aller plus loin. Il créé donc le collectif New Deal avec Kazey, Soper et Seven.

Parallèlement, et de façon plus discrète, Anakyne participe à la scène House française en plein essor (c’est l’époque de la French Touch) en signant en juin 1998 pour trois maxis sur le label Kif Recordings de Faster Jay, dont le premier sort en décembre.

1998 est donc l’année du lancement mais également celle de la consécration puisqu’il se retrouve au Zénith de Paris à l’occasion de la première Techno Parade de septembre pour assurer un set jazzy, puis un autre set plus dark juste après Dom & Roland, et remplace au pied levé et de façon mémorable le fameux Andy C lors d’une soirée Black Label. Dès lors il devient résident avec Otis des soirées Black Label où il joue avec une impressionnante liste des plus grands DJs et MCs anglais… Kenny Ken, Dom & Roland, Jumping Jack Frost, Kemistry & Storm, Andy-C, Hype, Roni-Size, Bryan Gee, Fierce, Randall, Bailey, Goldie, Ed Rush, Optical Grooverider, Fabio, Usual Suspect, Reality, Bad Company, Adam-F, J-Majik, Loxy, Doc Scott, Dj SS, Roni-Size, Digital & Spirit, Souljah…GQ, Flux, Dynamite, Ryme Tyme, Fats, Justiyc, Verse, Rage, Mc Mc, et Warren g…

En juin de cette même année Anakyne et Science lancent leur propres soirées hebdomadaires intitulées Kultur Klub à la Cordonnerie, soirées qui dureront jusqu’en février 2001. C’est également l’époque de la création d’Infiltration, le collectif regroupant Anakyne, Deoda (soit Basscore, Méo, Asa 5, Mazinger Z), Soper, Science, Djam, Miss Ficel et Sree.
Septembre 1999 : après le Zénith, c’est Bercy pour la seconde Techno Parade où il joue avec Goldie, Randall, Bailey, MC Justyc et MC Fats pour une Metalheadz Session historique. Il devient aussi vendeur à Black Label Records le seul shop 100% specialisé D&B et ce jusqu'à sa fermeture en Janvier 2008.

Le label Under Pressure Records créé avec Soper naît peut après, en février 2000, dont le baptême est organisé au Divan du Monde avec Science, Soper, Kraken (Stakka & Skynet) et MC Doobie. Le label sera prétexte à une résidence mensuelle à l’O.P.A., les excellentes soirées Release The Pressure ou les guests UK (Skinny aka Nu Balance, Dj Red, Stakka & Skynet, Dj Friction, Nitrox, Simmon Bassline Smith…) et français se succèdent jusqu’en novembre 2002.

La première sortie Under Pressure, «Justice Time remix» par Kraken et par Digithugz sort en mai 2001. La suite on la connaît : Under Pressure en est à sa 9ème sortie et les 3 suivantes sont déjà toutes prêtes et les soirées s’enchaînent pour Anakyne, en France et à l’étranger, toujours aux côtés des «gros» anglais.

Et comme si cela ne suffisait pas, Anakyne trouve le moyen de créer 3 nouveaux labels : Artchives consacré au collectif Deoda, New Hope pour les nouveaux talents, et Memories pour les productions liquid, les rumeurs affirment même qu’un 4ème label serait déjà en préparation…

Janvier 2004, il reprend Under Pressure en solo et sort les deux premiers New Hope Recs avec FX909 et Earsut.

Septembre 2005, nouvelle résidence mensuelle pour le label au Batofar « Flavor of the month » 3ème mercredi du mois avec Otis, Anakyne, FX909 & Miss Drop en tant que Résidents ; et nouvelle émission hebdomadaire de radio tous les dimanche de 21h à 23h sur electrone.net .

Janvier 2006, Otis avec son tout nouveau label Hyperdogs Recordings apporte son soutien officiel à la soirée en s’ajoutant à l’organisation tout en laissant Anakyne gérer.

Décembre 2007, lancement d’une nouvelle soirée bimestriel au Triptyque « Urban Flavor » en collaboration avec Hyperdogs recs.

Mai 2007, suite au succès de la 1ère Urban Flavor avec la venue de Dj Phantasy, les soirées deviennent la résidence Française des « Devotion : True skool Sessions » crées par Phantasy et Skibadee il y a 7 ans en Angleterre.

Février 2008 avec les Taktile Touch ils créent une nouvelle émission de radio hebdomadaire sur le net « A Touch Of Flavor ».

Janvier 2009, fermeture de la boutique Black Labe, la seule boutique 100 % Drum & Bass ou il était vendeur depuis septembre 1999.

Juin 2009, il représente la France en jouant au festival Innovation In The Sun.

Janvier 2010, avec l'aide de garance production il organise la première soirée Innovation en France, la soirée est un succès, 1600 personnes ce déplacent à l'Élysée Montmartre, cela faisait plus de 5 ans qu'une soirée sur Paris n'avait fait autant de monde.

Juin 2010, il joue de nouveau pour le festival innovation In The Sun.

Novembre 2010, Il joue pour les 5 ans de Innovation in Amsterdam.

Janvier 2011, seconde Innovation In Paris.

Juin 2011 il joue pour la 3ème fois au festival Innovation In The Sun et apparait dans la « Main room ».

Octobre 2011 début d’une nouvelle résidence hebdomadaire au 16 Tholozé.

Avril 2012, après avoir aidé à faire la connexion entre Innovation et la Belgique,la 1ère Innovation à lieu en Belgique. Première sortie de son nouveau label Flavor Records

Mai 2012, retour de son label Under Pressure Recs avec le Ep des Funktastics.

Juin 2012, 4ème année consécutive au festival Innovation In The Sun.

Février 2013, il lance avec Elisa Do Brasil (Massive) et Hugabass (I Love Jungle) une nouvelle soirée D&B mensuelle.

Mars 2013, il lance une nouvelle résidence @Glazart pour son label Under Pressure Records.

Février 2014, nouvelle émission hebdomadaire de radio sur Rinse Fm France.

The introduction of ANAKYNE into the music started with a fierce passion for Hip-Hop to which he was devoted himself as a DJ and a Producer since 1987. The career that everyone knows to him begins however only in 1995 when a friend makes him discover the jungle music. It is the time of the JUNGLE VIBES parties initiated by OTIS in a parisian club, le GIBUS, and the beginnings of the recordshop BLACK LABEL where he meets the actors of the Parisian d'n'b scene. After a long preparation Anakyne agrees to play at one of the mythical Black Label parties on the CONCORDE-ATLANTIQUE boat, in April 98 at the sides of KENNY KEN & OTIS. This first very positive public showcase pushes him with going further. He thus created the collective NEW DEAL with KAZEY, SOPER and SEVEN.

In parallel, and in a more discrete way, Anakyne takes part in the french House scene in full rise (it is the time of French Touch) while signing in June 1998 for three single on the label KIF RECORDINGS running by FASTER JAY, of which first maxi went out in December.

1998 is the year of his launching but also that of his dedication since he played in the ZENITH of Paris at the time of the first TECHNO PARADE ( in September ) to ensure a jazzy set, then another one darker just after DOM & ROLAND , he also start to work at the Black Label Records shop as a seller (he's still working there nowdays) and replaces with the raised foot and in a memorable way the famous ANDY C at the time of one Black Label party with GQ on the mic.. Consequently he becomes resident with Otis of the Black Label parties where he plays with an impressionant list of reknowned DJs and English MCs... Kenny Ken, Dom & Roland, Jumping Frost Jack, Kemistry & Storm, Andy-C, Hype, Bryan Gee, Fierce, Randall, Bailey, Goldie, ED Rush, Optical Grooverider, Fabio, Usual Suspect, Reality, Bad Company, Adam-F, J-Majik, Loxy, Doc. Scott, Dj SS, Roni-Size, DIGITAL & Spirit, Souljah, Nicky Blackmarket, Pendulum, Nu:Tone, LTJ Bukem, Marcus Intalex, DJ Friction...GQ, Dynamite, Ryme Tyme, Justiyc, Rage, Mc Mc, and Warren G...

In June of this same year ANAKYNE and SCIENCE launch their own weekly parties called KULTUR KLUB in LA CORDONNERIE, until February 2001. It is also the time of the creation of INFILTRATION, the collective gathering ANAKYNE, DEODA (aka BASSCORE, MO, ASA 5, MAZINGER Z), SOPER, SCIENCE, DJAM, MISS FICEL and SREE. September 1999: after the Zenith, he does BERCY for the second Techno Parade where he plays with GOLDIE, RANDALL, BAILEY, MC JUSTYC and MC FATS for an historical Metalheadz Session.

The label UNDER PRESSURE RECORDS created with SOPER was born afterwards, in February 2000, whose christening is organized in LE DIVAN DU MONDE with Science, Soper, Kraken (STAKKA & SKYNET) and MC DOOBIE. The label will be the pretext for a monthly residence in O.P.A., the excellent parties Release The Pressure where guests from the U.K. (Skinny aka Nu Balances, Dj Red, Stakka & Skynet, Dj Friction, Nitrox, Simmon Bassline Smith, MC Wrec...) and French guests followed one another until November 2002.

The first Under Pressure Records release, "Justice Time remix" by KRAKEN (Stakka & Skynet) and by DIGITHUGZ (Sree & Soper) came out in May 2001, The continuation one knows it: Under Pressure is at its 9th exit and the 3 following ones are already ready and the parties are connected for Anakyne, in France and abroad, always at the sides of reknowned English activists.

January 2004, he run Under Pressure in solo and he create New Hope Recs with two releases produce by FX909 and Earsut.

September 2005, ANAKYNE is coming back after two personal dark years with a new monthly residence for the label "FLAVOR OF THE MONTH" taken place @ BATOFAR with Otis, FX909, Anakyne, Miss Drop and Digicla as Resident, every 3rd Wednesday of the month and a new weekly web radioshow every Tuesday from 21h 'til 23h on electrone.net. Since January 2006 the "FLAVOR OF THE MONTH" party is in partnership with HYPERDOGS RECORDINGS...the brand new Drum and Bass label running by OTIS...with Otis, Anakyne, Miss Drop & Raslion MC as resident.

June 2009, he is playing for the first time for Innovation In The Sun.

January 2010 he organize with Garance Production the first Innovation In Paris.

June 2010, he is playing for the second time for Innovation In The Sun.

November 2010, he is playing for the 5th Year Birthday of Innovation In Amsterdam.

January 2011, he organize, still with garance Production the second Innovation In Paris.

2012 Under Pressure records is back in Digital, then he will play for the fourth time at Innovation In The Sun.

2013, with Elisa Do Brasil & Hugabass they are launching in February a new monthly D&B night "Re-Union" and in march he is also lauching a new night for the label "Blazin". And he is also playing for the fifth time at Innovation in The Sun.

2014, he's lauching The Pressure Show a new 02h live radio show on Rinse FM France with 6 other artists from the label.
