my name is Alex Molla,

during my "Artistic" journey I have gained various experiences and qualifications:
DJ, Music Programmer, Music Journalist and Publicist, Wedding Music Planner, Radio Speaker, Remixer for great Italian and foreign artists, and much more.

I started as a DJ a few decades ago.

Starting from "Disco Music" over the years I have had the opportunity to learn and study musical history from Black to House Music, passing through Urban, Rock, and RnB.
My favorite musical sound is Dance '80 made in UK and USA (Depeche Mode as an example), RnB/Hip Hop, and House Music.
For professionalism I know every musical genre including classical and in my evenings I have the opportunity to range in genres and over time from the 50s to 70s disco music, Latin, up to Progressive House, making me multifaceted.

I was still a minor when I started learning the profession of DJ alongside real "veterans" of the sector.

It takes a bit of "butt" in life!
Some proper knowledge helps, but then it's all flour in my bag.. cheers

My passion, commitment, constancy, hours and hours spent on the turntables mixing vinyl finding the right sound for a precise mix, the experience with every type and class of people during the numerous evenings have led me to play even in the best " Italian Clubs” such as: “Rolling Stone”, "Hollywood"; "Shocking"; "Ca Bianca"; "General Warehouses"; "De Sade"; "Alcatraz"; "Village of Lost Time/Karma"; "Martini Terrace"; "Guild"; "Villa of the Roses"; “Club Zero”; "Open House", "Havana Cafè", "Paparazzi", "Charlie Brown", "Albert's Club" and are just some examples of my career.
By gaining many experiences, I was able to offer my sound also in Europe as a "Guest DJ" and the most significant ones that I remember with affection are: "The Roof Gardens (UK); "Pigalle" (FR); "La Boca" (PL ); “Le Festival Plage” (Nice); Nyx Lugano.

Almost parallel to the DJ profession, I begin my radio career, first as an "Audio Technician" and later as a "Music Programmer"; a brief parenthesis being also "Radio Speaker" together with a young Gianluca Gazzoli where we had a lot of fun.
Among my radio experiences are the most important starting from a famous local radio station in northern Italy "Primarete/NBC Milano" arriving then to the great Italian networks: "Radio Italia S.M.I., "RTL 102.5", "Italia Network", "Play Radio/Virgin Radio",
"Radio Number One".

With the role of "Head of Music," I worked for Caterina Caselli and Filippo Sugar with the record company "Sugar Music" for two local radio stations, one in Milan and one in Rome: "Radio Milano Uno" and "Radio Roma Uno".

Between evenings, events, radio, and remixes, I had the opportunity to collaborate for major national and international events as a "Guest DJ".

These are some of the great projects that I have been able to realize (although the list is much longer) in my artistic career:

In 2006 I inaugurated the "Gala" evening for the "GP Formula 1" in Monza.
In 2009 I released my first and only single under the pseudonym "Virginalex" entitled: "Sexual Bizarre" available on Beatport, Itunes, and on physical CD in the compilation "Numberone Party".
In 2012 I opened the Gianluca Grignani concert at the "Stadio Brianteo" in Monza collaborating with the Sony Music record label.
In 2015 "Expo 2015" at the "American Food 2.0" stand which hosted the wife of the American President Michelle Obama.
In 2014 and 2015 "Pride Milano" played in front of 150,000 people; an indescribable emotion.
In the "Remix" section, together with a team of well-prepared guys dedicated to the recording and sound studio, I made official remixes for Italian and foreign artists from Paola and Chiara to Erika, Nek, Alexandra Stan, Inna, Daddy Yankee, Dj Antoine, all available on the best music platforms.
Between 2012 and 2015 I made 4 double dance compilations: "Numberone Party"
In 2016 I was nominated at the "Italian Dance Music Awards" in the "Best Remix" category for the single "We Wanna" by Alexandra Stan & Inna ft.Daddy Yankee; an unforgettable experience….
In 2019 I make the official remix for DJ Antoine's summer hit single "Loved me once".
In the same year (2019) the collaboration with the magazine began
"Q Magazine" created in agreement with the Director of the newspaper the musical section "Q Sound" where I wrote and interviewed numerous national and international artists such as Nek, Cesare Cremonini, Marco Mengoni, Paola Iezzi, Bob Sinclar, Ed Sheeran, also collaborating also with record labels, I gave news and music previews of very important artists from Madonna to Lady Gaga, Maroon 5, Adele, Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, Pink, Beyoncè, Rihanna, Coldplay, Justin Bieber, David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Drake, Bad Bunny, The Weekend, David Bowie, Jared Leto and many more.

I continue to review news not only of artists but also of "Dance/Black/Funky/House" music
and you can find them on my Alex Molla website in the dedicated section "Musical News" and then also posted on all my social networks.

In 2022 I start my collaborations with some European radios for big events continuing to play my "DJ Sets".

The passion continues, the professionalism remains and the awareness of never-ending learning is naturally and constantly nourished, cultivating it without ever ceasing to "love music", weekly listening to every type of sound and at least 50 new records and revivals a week where, after careful analysis (I spend hours and hours listening to and selecting music in my free time) and based on my style and sound, I choose the songs that I think can be played in my evenings. I'm never afraid to try and experiment with new music during my DJ Sets because I need it to better understand people and what I can improve about myself.

Every day is a new day for me to learn from older and younger people in every industry, every moment, for a lifetime.

Culture is something that never ceases to positively surprise me and give me so much strength and desire to continue this infinite and beautiful journey.
