The new and up coming artist Holiam Dawyd, is from Medellin Colombia. Born in 1990, of a musician father and a mom coming from the country side of Colombia,
he’s got two passions in life, obviously:
Music and Nature …

Thanks to his dad, Holiam Dawyd gets addicted to music at a very young age. Rather than a musician, producer or dj, he says of himself: "a faithful and true lover of Sound".

Holiam’s inspiration, come from what surrounds him, his family, his friends, the public, his life in Medellin Colombia…And especially Nature.

All of this does reflect in his productions and in his pure analogue live set, sound textures and groove forms a very well though through, and are in a constant evolution, a very organic experience!

Performing live sets, Dj sets or both, sort of a hybrid live set, in all situations, he always manage to drive the audience into a deep and groovy dance experience.

His excellent skill in music production allows him to travel from Techno to House, with a strongly imprinted dark and tribal flavor.

In such a short period of time he managed to play in some of the biggest events in his country. He had open the Event for The Chemical Brother when they came to play in Medellin in 2012, and since then he has share stages with some of the best and most respected artists of the Techno scene, such as: Stacey Pullen, Marc Houle, Joseph Capriati, Martin Buttrich, Todd Terry, Matthew Dear,Santiago Salzar, Guido Schneider, Alessio Meureu…
