This are those cases where classical and electronic music intersect as a combination that winds up in intellectual realms, where the spiritual impulse of classical music is boiled down to binary. Both tracks “Art of House” and “House of Art” are fully formed by groovy loops, however LetKolben's work has tapped into a fertile patch of inspiration, shaking up the principles of minimal sounds with the loose, expressive qualities of classical music. In this release LetKolben sounds freer than ever throughout his records. It may be the best record he's made.
