Creator and Founder of ..::PLUR::.. in Florida the Biggest and Longest running full EDM event in SW Florida

DJ Friday has been rocking the decks since he was barely toilet-trained, when he rifled through his mothers and grand parents' vast and eclectic record collection and started experimenting with the controls on their old record player. He grew up in a profoundly musical household, his grand parents being professional musicians who put him into classical violin and clarinet lessons from the moment he had enough motor control in his hands to hold instrument. He is nonetheless a completely self-taught DJ, buying all the necessary gear with money saved up from a part-time job as a paperboy and learning by bringing a new piece of musical technology home, plugging it in, and pushing all the buttons until something happened. The first record he bought was a now-out-of-print EP of Afrika Bambaataa & The Soul Sonic Force - Planet Rock from Tommy Boy Records.

He began playing in local bars and clubs in his hometown of Chicago, Ill. getting his first break when the DJ called in sick at a local club. He started to blow up in Chicago and then he went to Japan began playing in multiple clubs in Roppongi, after he then moved back to the United States. He has since enjoyed immense success, blowing up dance floors across the globe to sold-out crowds. He has shared the decks with the likes of Renegades of Funk, Cato K, M-Dot, Drager, DJ Trexx, Nerd Rage, DJ Barney Philly,Superstar DJ Keoki, Party Ghost, Brillz, Henry Fong, Crespo, Whi5ker5, and Liam Shachar. His most recent track, “Saw Remix,” was used for Halloween Havoc trip.

Friday’s musical style reflects his eclectic influences—from high-modernist integral serialism to jazz-funk fusion to Armenian epic poetry to 80s hair metal—all distilled down to pure, crystalline electro. He’s not limited to electro, instead spins everything from dubstep to trance and all EDM. DJ Friday keeps the crowd goin and the environment electrifying and is a rising star.
