DJ VinylStyle is a multi genre DJ who started collecting Happy Hardcore records in 1998 and soon after built himself a set of decks out of old record players. In 2001 he got his first direct drive decks. 2003 he started playing out regularly at Hardcore events and began supporting some of the biggest names in the scene. As time progressed so did his musical taste and he's played sets that include UK Hardcore, Gabber, UK Garage, Dubstep, Bassline & House to name but a few. Over the years he's played at raves, festivals, club nights, free parties and Internet radio both live and pre recorded and even MC'd at a couple of events. Predominantly a Drum & Bass and Jungle DJ these days, he's now resident (his 3rd in total) and co-promoter of Subtone Society, a bass music event based in Nottingham.
"I first met Lee at an event we were both playing at and we hit it off straight away. We kept in touch and he kindly asked if I'd like to do an Acid Techno set for his radio show. I love mixing different genres and being taken out of my comfort zone so I immediately said yes. I've played a couple of Techno sets before and really enjoy holding the long mixes".
