1992 - 071209 Reinforced Tribute (320kbps)

This is my tribute to the greatest 1992 UK 'Ardkore label of all time, Reinforced Records. What I enjoy most about this label is that they managed to release all styles of electronic dance music while focusing on the breakbeat stuff. They've released the happy piano pre-Happyhardcore, pounding topbuzz style jungletekno, regular Detroit techno, New Jersey style house music, darkcore, ragga jungle, and even atmospheric jungle. No other label had such a wide sonic pallet of colors in that time. The only bad thing about the label is that sometimes the sound quality of the releases is less then perfect. I personally find these tracks to be so ingenious that I can look past their flaws.

Unfortunatly I don't have all of the Reinforced records yet. As of this moment Nookie's (Speedy-J Rise tribute) "Wave Station" is the unicorn that I'm chasing but its way too expensive on discogs. However I do have a lot of Reinforced in my collection and this mix represents my favorites. I actually recorded this one back in July of 2009. I never thought much of it till I listened to it before going to see Altern-8 and N-JOI in Brooklyn two weeks ago. Now I'm hearing this like as if someone else mixed it and it sounds amazing! So now that I actually like this I finished mastering it in Acid Pro and I made cover art for it.
