Music and sounds of Zodiak Nice

When both artists of Zodiak Nice initially found their love for turntablism and electronic music, it was still in the end of the late 90s.

Yet, it was only a matter of time until the two finally met behind the decks of a sunday afterhour where they played together for the very first time. The positive vibe and the musical energy, alongside a lot of fun,
is what ultimately lead them to meet again.

Many spontaneous sessions followed and they were soon to realize that they were just on the same wave length, musically and personally. Connected by their true passion for music, a personal and creative
relationship developed which ultimately resulted in collaborative work as a natural consequence.

Finally, in 2012, they joined forces and the mutual dj-project "Zodiak Nice" was founded.

Zodiak´s music is deeply inspired and influenced by legendary Berlin clubs like Casino, Ostgut and Tresor, as well as the melodic aspects of Chicago house or the hammering elements of Detroit techno.

Their style is characterized by a very unique warmth and an atmospheric touch that never loses its reference to the greater whole.
Even though, bassline-driven techno and house reduced to its most minimalistic essence forms the basis of their sets, also hypnotic deepness has become a crucial element in their outstanding dj-performances.

Unsurprisingly, they were soon invited to prove their quality in established Berlin night clubs like Sisyphos, Golden Gate or Katerholzig on a regularly basis. Meanwhile, also multiple locations far beyond the borders of Berlin were graced with the musical expertise of these two up-and-coming artists.

Listening to their DJ-sets, it becomes clear that Zodiak Nice just inhabits this unique and distinctive sense for fantastic and qualitative sounds that any outstanding performer requires.Therefore, their ultimative goal is to present to the audience their very own interpretation of electronic underground dance music. Yet, they have established their very own style without following any trends or being confined to any genre-related stereotypes.

In 2014, their musical career was about to reach a new level.
Focusing on new visions, they started producing their own music and are currently also working on their debut release, which will surely become an integral and critically acclaimed part of the scene.
