With the name Carlito Bigante you think Colombian Cartel Baron or maybe an Cuban hit-man, but no Carlito Bigante is otherwise known as Carl Johnston an exceptionally talented DJ. Hailing from South London, Carl has been mixing it up since the late 90’s, starting his career playing Hard Dance at clubs like the Fridge and Crash, for nights such as Erratic & Trinity under the moniker John Stone . In 2002 Carl got his 1st residency playing for a night called Zipocde DJ'ing under his real name, which saw him explode on to the underground scene in London playing a combination of Progressive, Techno and House. His skills have seen him play at some of the biggest main stream and underground clubs in London, such as The Ministry of Sound, Turnmills, Egg, The Cross, Fire, Plan B playing alongside the likes of Norman Jay, Mark Knight, Jose Nunez, Harry "Choo Choo" Romero, Danny Howells to name but a few.

Having taken a 5 year break, he is back DJ'ing under the monkier Carltio Bigante and as you can hear his style and skills are still, if not better then before. He is now looking to bring his passion and love of music back to the national and international stage. His as comfortable playing warm up in a bar to smashing big room dance floors with hi energy tracks. Without sounding corny or cliche, this guy is all about the music and sharing his love of it to the masses.
