After years of supporting Electronic Dance Music culture Ruction began his DJ journey at Movadoes Sports Bar in Prince Albert Saskatchewan in 2010 mixing Dubstep and Top 40 "bar friendley tunes". Realizing he couldn't play to the masses the sounds he loved he soon began playing more EDM events and incorporating Glitch-Hop, Ghetto Funk, Bassline, Electro and Funk and Bass music into his sets. Over the years his passion grew and Ruction soon found himself at the forefront of Saskatchewan's dance music scene opening for the likes of: A Skillz, Neon Steve, Goosebumpz, Glitchy and Scratchy,Stanton warriors and Sammy Senior. Now a resident DJ at Pabco Brewpub in P.A. Ruction also heads the Valhalla stage at Elysium Music and Arts Festival and PBNJ, a Facebook page highlighting local DJs and artists. Ruction has performed at Bass In The Bush, Phantasm Festival, Majestic Meadows, Heavens To Binski, Armed With Harmony and Legacy Lounge. In 2016 Ruction began hosting weekly DJ sets on RisingSoundFM, an internet radio show featuring a veriety of DJs and artists. Working with programs Digital DJ, Virtual DJ, Vestex Typhoon and Traktor S4 Ruction is able play a diverse mix of funky bass music that's sure to pack any dancefloor.
