Drifting Stars by & co

The remixing arm of the Dark Company project was named & co, and Drifting Stars is the album that features various remixes of assorted Dark Company songs.

& co have more of a dance flavour and lack guitars and vocals, apart from samples. You will hear that there are a few parts lifted from the original songs if you listen carefully.

All of these remixes began life as songs on Dark Company's Rage In Heaven, Alien Heat or Ghost of the Art albums. Remixing was largely done by Jeff at Silent Running Studios in Exeter between 1991 and 1994. Drifting Stars was subsequently remastered by George at Wud Records Studio One following their salvage from a rather worn cassette.

There are more tracks to be added to this collection residing in our vault. Songs will be added when we have some time to work on making them broadcast-friendly.
