WhoIsRamB

Born in central New Jersey, Param Bhavsar is a first-generation Indian-American who comes from a family with extensive musical background. Being heavily influenced by the music around, at a young age, Param started playing trumpet and piano, as well as beating different household objects along his favorite songs to create his “remixes”.

At the age of 13, Param started to show his sociable personality and started networking with promoters and DJs in his area. Few years later, at age 17, he started his music collection; Param spent a large portion of his paychecks on CDs to extend his collection across every genre. He drove around with a box of CDs to learn more songs and appreciate the art of sound. When RAM B (pronounced “ROM BEE”) got his first mixer, he practiced repeatedly until he could get his transitions right. As soon as he heard a mix that was actually clean, he became addicted and wanted to keep improving.

Today, RAM B is an up and coming DJ who takes his practice sessions to another level. He is a New Jersey native but deems himself a Philadelphia-based Disk Jockey. Within his first three months of being in Philadelphia, RAM B was noticed by a Philadelphia-based DJ coalition, the Supreme DJs. Less than a year later, he has become a part of the crew as the youngest member on the roster. With aspirations of being a force in the industry, he continues to network and practice as hard as he did since day one. To DJ RAM B, it is a priority to be a DJ that is passionate about “going to work” every time he steps behind two turntables; to ensure his clientele has an extraordinary experience.

To this day, RAM B is a committed student with a mission to learn from watching DJs that inspire him in action, trying to take bits and pieces from each of these great disk jockeys while adding his own flavor to his dexterity.
