Welcome Mhlanga, better known as Wex TBK, is an AfroHouse DJ and producer from Payneville, Springs in Gauteng. With over a decade of experience behind the decks, he has built a reputation for delivering soulful, rhythmic, and emotionally charged sets that blend Afro-House and Afro-Tech influences.

Wex started his musical journey in 2010, drawn to the heartbeat of house music. As the sound evolved into tribal and Afro-inspired styles, he naturally gravitated toward Afro-House and Afro-Tech, where his creativity truly came alive.

Over the years, he has performed across South Africa and featured on platforms such as eKasi FM and YFM. His productions have reached international audiences through respected labels like Open Bar Music (USA) and Barrel House Records (Portugal).In 2023, he was named a Diesel Denim Friday DJ finalist, marking another milestone in his growing journey as one of South Africa’s promising Afro-House talents.
