Vinc was born in South Africa and began teaching himself to produce, write, and record all of his own music from the age of 15. Taking influence from artists such as Don Toliver and Travis Scott, he found his unique style of alternative hip hop and rap. After releasing a number of singles on SoundCloud in 2018 including VENT; Vinc got some traction and a number of gigs in the Johannesburg music scene. In 2019, he signed with BetaWorldwide and released his debut all-platform single, “No Plans”. He has also recently released a remix of Nasty C’s Bandz Up. Since his releases earlier this year, "Phenom" and "Zuu", Vinc has been growing exponentially.
