Kirris Riviere.

Music has always been one of my biggest passions from back in the days simply singing with my favourite tracks from the radio to making really bad mixtapes with friends and pretending to be DJ’s. As I got older my tastes for music changed from Kate bush to, soul to hip-hop then jazz to soulful garage to blues. I kind of love everything with meaning and soul in it. Since the age of nineteen I have been involved in many different music projects from band to studio sessions always learning on the way. My most successful music project is kirris Riviere blues band we regularly gig in and around Bristol and the West Country in many different music venues, a few years back I featured on an unforeseen album titled Return Of The Wob which has received good responses as well as good sales.
This has triggered my interest in recording sessions, since then I have been featured on up and coming tracks, more original album work is my next goal so 2015 will be the year for that as well as improving on what I have already accomplished.
My other love is acting…
I worked with Clive Owen in a film called 'I'll sleep when I'm dead' the character I played was 'Big John'. I was featured alongside Jeff Bell. Also appeared at The R.S.C in the production of 'Comedy of errors'. A few years later I was then cast in the TV Series 'Above Suspicion' as a Lawyer. Also in appeared 'Casualty' in my early days. Mount Pleasant. The character I played was the love interest alongside Paula Wilcox in two episodes. Little Britain as Roland Burrel aka fatty Fatty Bom Bom Following on from that I then went on to do a few voiceover session for a different episode of mount pleasant.
I was also a regular in the TV series 'Nylon'. Again my next role was in the film 'Double Time' staring James Dreyfus.
My most recent work was in the feature film 'Red 2' alongside the greats like Bruce Willis, John Malkovich Anthony Hopkin's, Helen Mirren, the list is long. While working in a scene with Helen Mirren it was during this time of filming I was prompted by Helen Mirren. Her exact words were “You are good enough to succeed in this business and I am sure we will work together again , I was blown away by that comment simply because I have always been my worst critic.
