V150R — bio

V150R (pronounced “visor”) is a music producer, DJ and podcast host from Budapest, Hungary. He was infected with the virus called drum & bass shortly after the turn of the millennium.
After several years immersed in the Hungarian nightlife and drum & bass scene, he started producing music both under his own name and with three friends as Lumin Essence.
They joined forces to bring back the atmospheric, deep and sci-fi-driven sound they felt had been gradually disappearing from drum & bass since the “neurofunk outbreak”.

His productions blend deep and atmospheric vibes with dark, otherworldly soundscapes. His tracks are filled with small details and hidden layers, creating vivid sonic spaces that reward close listening.

His music has been heavily influenced by artists such as Konflict, Cause4Concern, TeeBee, Stakka & Skynet, Optiv, Cruel Culture, Desimal, Mav and Future Engineers.
