Moments Passing By / Talk Amongst Yourselves [PSPS005 - out 5th May 2017]

by Titeknots

The re-emergence of Titeknots in Spring is becoming an annual occurrence.

Previous single "Mustard Flower // Help Out When You Can" is still getting support from the likes of Monki and Jamz Supernova on BBC 1xtra, Emily Dust on Radar Radio, Wah Wah 45s Radio, Kristian Davideks on radio FM4 Vienna, Harper's Funkadelia show on Polskie Radio Program IV, Basic Soul Radio, Migrations Radio, Independent Groove and more. This new singles follows hot on its heels with more delicate sounds and flavours to suit the warmer weather.

“Moments Passing By” nods to classic House sounds on the drum track, but with layers of strings and piano still keeping things fresh. The deep bass stabs and yearning vocals complete the mix, building a world that is equal parts uplifting and melancholy.

“Talk Amongst Yourselves” throws a curveball at the end of this 4 track package. Drawing on the dance music of his youth, where uptempo Hip Hop mingled with House and Pop, Titeknots recreates a classic breakbeat sound with boogie bass and a cut and paste style of production.
