Sounds of Timothy Nealon

Already at the age of four Timothy Nealon decided that saxophone was the instrument to play - mainly because it looks shiny and didn’t seem as difficult as trumpet or trombone. But first he had to learn to play the recorder for four years - which isn’t shiny at all.

Now the German-British saxophonist draws on experience by studies of jazz, pop and rock obtained at the Hamburg conservatory and is now free to concentrate on the music he really loves:

Deep House distinguishes itself through melody oriented and shortened grooves, as well as influence stemming from jazz and soul. The special saxophone sound – complemented by well thought out use of effect devices – blends perfectly into this form of stylistics. Starting from that direction, Timothy Nealon, assisted by his dramatic improvisations, sets out to make every DJ-set into something extraordinary.

Music up until now, derived from a clean studio recording, is being transformed into unmistakable energy of a true live experience.
