I’m a Deep Soulful House music DJ whose journey began around 1999 or 2000. A friend of mine was studying at Vaal Technikon and would bring home house music cassettes during the holidays. We would listen to them together, and that’s where my interest began.

I started playing house music on jukeboxes in taverns, where my love for DJing grew. I downloaded programs such as AutoMix and VirtualDJ and began playing for friends. Before long, I was performing at taverns in Mahikeng.

Later, I bought my own sound system and began hiring it out while DJing at weddings, social clubs and chillers. I then started a podcast and recorded mixtapes, which were warmly received by my audience.

There have been challenges along the way, but I told myself I would never give up. I kept pushing, and I’m still going. I may not be where I want to be yet, but I believe that one day I’ll get there.
