Sounds of Land

Phillip grew up in the sweltering heat of the dirty south in the 1980s. First introduced to Electronic Music in 1993 at an event called "Rumble in the Jungle" in NC. This event featured one of the most prolific producers and art curators of the time, Carlos Soulslinger. This was in fact the first Jungle music event in NC. From this moment he was hooked.
In 1995 Phillip purchased his first set of Technic 1200's and started playing hiphop and jungle strictly. Under the dj monecre FROST. After moving to the west coast in 2005 and changing his dj name to 'Land' to help reflect his passion for dance music. He linked up with RENDER in 2010 in Portland OR. He helped pave the way for bigger things including the outdoor event known as TECH TREK and assisting with the curating and execution of this series of events. AGR (Amiti Group Recordings) has 31 releases as of Febuary 2019.
